We Are The Ocean - Overtime Is A Crime

We Are The Ocean's latest single 'Overtime Is A Crime' from this years Go Now And Live c.d was released late last week.

Overtime Is A Crime was one of the first We Are The Ocean songs I heard, and there's something about this video that reminds me of when I first discovered the band, when I first saw them live, and there's a beauty in that. The fact that just a video or song can bring back those memories, can bring back that feeling when you know you've discovered something amazing.

And that's what We Are The Ocean are. A Discovery. Because they aren't done yet, there's so much more they have to show us - and we can see this in Overtime Is A Crime. We can see the progression of the band along with the potential.

Although Go Now And Live isn't as heavy as Cutting Out Teeth was [mainly because Dan Brown has gone for more singing roles], Overtime Is A Crime reassures us that the power locked in tracks like Confessions and Nothing Good Has Happened Yet is still there.

So where to most Overtime Is A Crime is just a song, it's so much more to me and other We Are The Ocean songs. It's a beauty, a discovery, a memory, and most importantly, it's a reassurance

To experience this same feeling you can check the video out at either www.kerrang.com or www.youtube.com
